Chris began his career in franchising within the franchising division of a major high street bank, where he advised both aspiring franchisees and established business owners on funding strategies, business planning, and franchise growth. Working at the intersection of finance and franchising gave him a deep understanding of how lenders assess franchise models, what makes a business plan convincing to a bank, and how to structure a franchise financially for long-term sustainability. He developed a reputation for clear guidance and trusted partnership that has defined his approach ever since.

In 2018, Chris took the step of leaving the corporate world to launch his own franchise consultancy, gaining first-hand experience of building and growing franchise networks from the ground up. He has since deepened that practical understanding further through his personal involvement as a franchisee across three different businesses, giving him a perspective on the franchise relationship that few consultants can match.
