Who Forces Transition Group are
Forces Transition Group brings UK businesses and the service community together. Through online job fairs and live transition events across the country, it connects thousands of service leavers, veterans, reservists, spouses and blue light leavers with employers every year. Its philosophy is simple, serve well, leave well and flourish. Why franchising and the forces community fit so well
The qualities that the armed forces develop are the same qualities a successful franchisee needs. Service leavers are used to following proven systems and processes, working to standards, leading a team and staying disciplined under pressure. A good franchise gives them a tested model to run, ongoing support and a clear framework to work within, which is often a more natural step than starting a business from scratch.
For someone leaving the forces and weighing up self employment, franchising can be a lower risk route into running their own business. It is not the right answer for everyone, and we will always be honest about that, but for the right person it can be an excellent fit.
